The Compact Wingboard was optimally designed for wingfoiling with its highly concentrated volume and low swing weight. It is perfect for advanced wingfoilers in lighter conditions. The stable platform and central volume allow for an agile board for jumps and progressive maneuvers.
The completely new Compact v4 shape is longer compared to the previous model. This improves gliding and early foiling as well as landing and directional stability.
- WIDE NOSE For optimal wing performance, we kept the Compact as short as possible. The wide nose provides more volume in the front area and parallel rails. This increases directional stability at low and high speeds and distributes the volume more evenly between the nose and tail.
- HIGH APEX The high apex combines the stability of a wider board with the ability to make more aggressive turns, as you would expect from a board 10 cm narrower. Together with the hard release edge in the tail and the softer release edge in the nose, this allows for intuitive landings and quick releases. Thanks to this unique combination, the Compact is easier to handle even in lighter winds without compromising performance when getting onto the foil underneath.
- BOTTOM SHAPE The rounded nose and softer edges prevent the nose from catching on landing and ensure a quick recovery without significant speed loss. The middle section transitions into a single concave for maximum glide speed and works with the hard edges in the tail area to ensure quick water drainage during partial landings.
- THICK PROFILE The surprisingly high volume in such a short length reduces swing weight and makes the board easy to pump and turn. The volume is designed for optimal stability and, together with the high apex edge, provides maximum maneuverability.
- CONCAVE DECK The concave deck lowers the rider’s center of gravity on the board and shifts the lift higher onto the edges. This creates a more stable platform for gliding. It also provides a better feel for the foil, improving stability and responsiveness when pumping and turning.
- CARBON PLUS CONSTRUCTION The Carbon Plus construction consists of a full carbon sandwich structure on the top and bottom of the board. This technology uses a lightweight fiberglass layer around the light core and connects the high-density foam layer on the top and bottom of the board. Finally, the whole is finished with a full carbon layer on the top and bottom. Our biaxial carbon fiber has been optimized to provide the best combination of responsiveness, strength, and low weight.
