Inspired by the original Skillit, this latest version is more a tribute to its heritage than a simple remake. The familiar all-round riding feel remains but has been further developed with a modern approach to shape and performance. Designed for the waves most of us actually ride – small to medium conditions with variable wind and imperfect sections – the Skillit focuses on speed, flow, and getting the most out of every wave.
The outline and rocker are tuned so the board feels forgiving and predictable. This allows you to carry speed through turns, link sections, and maintain control even when conditions are far from perfect. It’s a board that feels instantly familiar but delivers more performance the harder you push it.
For 2026, the Skillit also benefits from our new DSV bottom – a double-in-single-concave design used across the entire surfboard range. While the concept itself is not new, our implementation provides a significantly improved riding experience: chop is noticeably smoothed out, responsiveness is increased, and control is maintained even under strong pressure on the feet.
The result is a board that respects its roots while clearly evolving. Familiar in character, modern in design, and built for the conditions that define everyday kitesurfing.
