Carbon twill construction creates a stiffer fin that provides incredible propulsion while gripping and holding during bottom and top turns. After numerous prototypes and tests, the construction was tuned so that the fin tip has a certain flex, which provides reflexes and suspension during turns. The wider the profile becomes towards the base of the fin, the more carbon layers stiffen the performance for more drive and support.
