Nomad LS Foilboard
Wingboard for light wind / downwind and surf SUP foilboard.
Endless gliding and optimized maneuverability.
Lightweight and robust Carbon-Plus construction.
The Nomad LS foilboard is an intuitive and stable crossover board for light wind and downwind with effortless gliding properties. Perfect for catching long waves, riding downwind, or getting onto the foil with the wing in light wind.
Thanks to its optimized length and width, the Nomad LS offers a parallel outline, volume distributed for optimal flight characteristics, and a forward-shifted foil position. This allows you to maintain the same posture when paddling in and get onto the foil.
The Nomad LS is even narrower compared to the original Nomad Carbon Plus. The LS shape (Light Speed) glides like an eel, yet is versatile enough for downwind, wave riding, or wing foiling in light wind.
- HULL SHAPE The underwater hull shape features a displacement-optimized bow area for planing at low speeds, transitioning into a planing stern with sharp edges for smooth landings and immediate lift-off. The optimized rocker enables instant planing and efficient starts at low speeds.
- PIN STERN The pin stern ensures an extremely clean lift-off and, combined with the narrow overall width and slim bow, allows for endless gliding.
- CONCAVE DECK The high volume in the bow area prevents the board from sinking when pushing off with the front foot. The concave deck provides stability by lowering the rider's center of gravity.
- NARROW BOW The narrow bow tip glides effortlessly through the water and, combined with the narrow overall width and slim stern, ensures endless gliding.
- CARBON PLUS CONSTRUCTION
Ultralight Carbon Plus deck and bottom.
PVC sandwich construction with a lightweight core.
High-strength foil connection.
The Carbon Plus construction features a full carbon sandwich construction on the top and bottom of the board. This technology uses a light fiberglass layer around the lightweight core and connects the high-density foam layer on the top and bottom of the board. Finally, a full carbon layer is applied on the top and bottom. Our biaxial carbon fiber has been optimized to provide the best combination of responsiveness, strength, and low weight.
