The new Downwinder has been developed to make getting on the foil as easy as possible and to surf for as long as possible. The fascination of downwind foiling takes on completely new dimensions with the Downwinder.

The Downwinder is available in sizes 5'10" and 6'2" and was developed 100% for downwind foiling. The shape, inspired by race SUP boards, helps you take off even in moderate conditions and provides maximum control over the foil, allowing you to fly as far as possible.

The elongated outline ensures a higher speed and also allows for starting with smaller foils, enabling even faster long-distance flights. The increased volume in the nose makes it easier to pump the board and thus allows for easy starts even in difficult conditions. The lowered deck reduces the thickness of the board and provides a more direct feel to the foil.

The round nose and the rounded edges, which are slightly beveled towards the tail, make the board very easy to control during touchdowns. The kick in the tail nose lifts the board well out of the water and allows it to continue flying after a possible touchdown. The outline that tapers towards the back reduces the surface area of the board at the tail, which means the board brakes less during touchdowns and stays gliding.

"Due to the forward-positioned foil boxes, extreme high aspect wings can also be used. Additionally, the position can be adjusted to one's own body weight, the foil, and personal preferences. To reduce resistance while paddling and to maintain an uninterrupted deck pad, handles on the bottom and deck have been omitted."
