The Carve is a powerful, reactive, and controllable kite, ideal for carving on the wave edge, barrel rides, or strapless tricks.
Designed with a stable, lower aspect ratio for quick pivot turns and excellent drift, the Carve delivers an extremely direct feel in bar pressure and steering input.
The intuitive control – especially when the kite is not visible during a big bottom turn, cutback, or barrel – lets you focus 100% on the wave.
The Carve features longer, progressive bar travel, so it stays smooth and responsive across the entire depower range and still reacts at the end of the sheet.
For 2025, the Carve’s bridling has been refined for increased depower and the lightest, most responsive steering, making the kite feel lighter, faster turning, and more agile.
You will also notice a clean, aerodynamic canopy profile with lower bar pressure for more stable, efficient drifting and less pull on the wave edge.
The improved balance with more sweep in the wingtips increases drift – when surfing, the kite glides smoothly down-the-line, ready for any bar input.
The light nose and gentle curve of the wingtip shape provide perfect balance. A thinner leading-edge diameter reduces pull, while additional sweep allows effortless rolling for relaunch.
The 2025 Carve is smoother, more stable, and easier to handle in gusty conditions.
