The new version of the Spade has been revised in a few ways: Its narrower shape ensures more contact between rails and water, which makes it much easier to load the edge before bottom turns or jumps. The bottom channel along the tail increases both speed and lift. Thanks to the 5th fin box, the Spade can be driven with both quad and thruster setups.
The new, lighter and more responsive Pro version makes our Spade portfolio even more versatile. The Spade Pro features a lightweight EPS core, the deck is reinforced with a high density honeycomb sandwich layer. Strategically placed UD carbon strips provide even more stability and controlled flex.

Through evolution we adapt to changing environmental conditions. This is no different with kitesurfing. An example: The evolution of the X:Breed into a true freestyle trick machine.
Proven X:Breed basic features – such as the symmetrical tip and tail design – have been retained. To further exploit the freestyle potential (both in waves and on flat water), we flattened the rocker line a little and added a center-bottom channel. Features that make the new X:Breed faster and livelier. Not only does it pick up speed more quickly and slide in and out of turns more quickly - the edge is also much easier to load for tricks.
The X:Breed is now also available in an even lighter Pro construction.
