Streamlined lightweight construction
Manufactured from state-of-the-art, lightweight materials for an optimal performance-to-weight ratio. The high-strength sail is made of a triple ripstop with 34 g/m² TX-Light and the leading edge is finished with an extremely durable 44 g/m² DLX+ fabric that protects against abrasion. All SOUL components are designed for maximum performance on any terrain. The integrated automatic bilge system is embedded in the construction. Dirt, water and small objects inside the kite automatically slide from the center of the kite to the wing tips and exit through two openings at the rear edge of the wing tips. The streamlined construction ensures the kite remains agile and highly maneuverable while maintaining peak performance.
Bridle lines with high tensile strength
The configuration of the bridle lines is crucial to the stability, performance and ease of control of the kite. A well-designed balance system balances the forces exerted on the structure and precisely controls its behavior. We use Dyneema for the A-level and brake, as well as Kevlar lines for B- and C-levels. The lines are covered with a UV-resistant layer. The protective coating extends the lifespan of the lines and reduces wear and tear caused by sunlight. The thoughtful use of materials ensures that the lines retain their length and strength over time. This minimizes the need to make frequent adjustments by re-trimming or replacing individual wear parts.
air intake line
Lines were stretched over all air inlets to ensure optimal flow to the leading edge. The air inlet lines hold the rigid foils on the nose in position and prevent the inlets from deforming. The kite fills with air more quickly. When launching the foil kite, you gain control over the entire wingspan more quickly. Even when overpowered, the kite continues to fly towards the edge of the wind window; the leading edge dents later and the depower works more efficiently.
Chord Cut Billow
The Chord Cut Billow – CCB Cut for short – is an advanced aerodynamic feature that optimizes airflow over the leading edge of our foil kites. It consists of a special precision cut that changes the profile of the leading edge so that the airflow is more even. These cuts, known as “billows,” are strategically positioned to direct airflow to reduce turbulence and mitigate the effects of surface irregularities. This ensures minimal drag, improved maneuverability and reduced backstall.
Performance Tuner
The Performance Tuner is a knot ladder integrated into the C-Pulley line to change the kite's camber. By moving the Z-Main Line you influence the control forces and performance of the kite. Shortening it increases light wind performance and steering/holding forces. An extension does the opposite by reducing brake line tension and control/holding forces. By adjusting the performance tuner for power delivery and depowering, you can optimize the kite's potential and adjust it based on wind conditions and your personal preference. If a change is made, it should be done symmetrically.

The SOUL is designed to perform exceptionally well in a wide range of wind conditions. Whether in light breezes or strong gusts, it retains its shape, responsiveness and efficiency. The enormous depower minimizes risks and ensures that you can push your limits with complete confidence, even in changing weather conditions and on different terrain. The kite features a sophisticated balance system and refined profile contours to ensure a consistently smooth flight.
Optimized Camber
Our knowledge from the Olympic Formula Kite Class flows directly into our freeride designs. The curvature of the profile is refined so that buoyancy, resistance and control are optimally balanced. The reflex profile sections are crucial for controlling and depowering a foil kite, providing stability at low angles of attack and full acceleration. The counter camber pushes the trailing edge down and prevents a front stall. This ensures smooth and predictable performance, even at high speeds.
