Cut-resistant (Level 4)

The Surf Shield series was developed to protect water sports enthusiasts from sharp fins, foils, and reefs – without compromising on comfort or performance. The Wetshirt LS Surf Shield is made from cut-resistant materials tested according to FIS-DITF standards. It offers cut protection level 4 (out of 5) and serves as a discreet yet highly effective barrier against cuts and abrasions. Typical for ION wetshirts is the looser fit. With the Slip_loop, you can connect the top to your shorts, keeping everything in place. Additionally, it provides reliable UV protection – both in the water and on land.

Cut-resistant

Cut protection class 4 out of 5 (EN388). HPPE fabric – known from ballistic vests, glass handling gloves, climbing ropes, and firefighter clothing.
