The Prime is much more than an entry-level board. A versatile performer in all wind and water conditions, it sails smoothly upwind and glides splash-free through chop.

For 2025, we have completely redesigned the Prime while maintaining the instantly familiar, intuitive, and comfortable riding experience. The board is built with our composite layup.

The rounded outline allows controlled edging in various conditions, while the progressive single concave with a flat rocker offers early planing and secure edge grip.

New is the structurally reinforced deck with an integrated grab rail, making it easy to grab for board-offs. Jumps and boosts succeed with full control, and the forgiving flex behavior ensures forgiving landings.

EARLY, SPLASH-FREE PLANING Retracted, flexible tips with a progressive single concave – deepest in the middle and flatter towards the tips – ensure faster planing, balanced tip flex, and splash-free gliding through chop.
CONTROLLED EDGING For smooth upwind riding. The rounded outline makes it easy to edge and helps you maintain control and progress faster. With forgiving flex for softer landings and more confidence when jumping and boosting.
COMPOSITE CONSTRUCTION The Prime is made with a composite construction – featuring a Paulownia wood core and biaxial E-glass laminate on the top and bottom.
LIGHTWEIGHT, IMPACT-RESISTANT CORE Renewable Paulownia hardwood is light but very durable with high impact resistance. The core thickness is individually adjusted to ensure consistent properties across the entire range.
PROGRESSIVE SINGLE CONCAVE The rocker is flatter in the middle than at the rails. This reduced curvature makes planing easier, while the more pronounced rocker shape when edging provides better pressure build-up.
DYNAMIC FLEX Variations in core thickness, taper, and longitudinal and transverse structure significantly influence the ride feel. Board-specific laminate layups further refine the flex.
DURABLE ABS RAILS WITH ROUNDED EDGES Long-lasting ABS rails with rounded edges protect against scratches and abrasions and offer impact-resistant performance.
INCLUDES COMPOSITE FINS Fins are a tuning element – more outline curve combined with slightly larger fins improves carving and control. Delivered with 40 mm or 50 mm fins, screws, and washers.
STANDARDIZED M6 STAINLESS STEEL HARDWARE Uniform SS316 M6x16 mm hardware for all TwinTip boards and accessories allows the use of the same tools and simplifies component replacement.
ERGONOMIC HANDLE Lightweight, ergonomic TPE handle with good grip even when wet. Handle extensions allow height adjustment – ideal for larger hands or limited mobility.
FLIPTECH MOUNTING SYSTEM With centerline inserts – simply rotate bindings and use a new heelside edge once one side is worn.
RECOMMENDED WITH FLEX / FLEX PRO BINDINGS Soft cushioning and grip when wet, with seamless KnitFlex inner layers and triple-density GripFlex footpads for secure hold and reliable support.
