Prime Freeride MA1500v2
Sonar Front Wing
Ideal for progression, the larger MAv2 Prime Frontwings offer a stable setup for learning wingfoiling or towing behind a boat. They effortlessly generate a lot of lift even at very low board speeds – without any pumping.
They are extremely stable, allowing you to focus more on the wing in your hands. The profile is designed for pitch stability, early takeoff, and a low stall speed. More sweep on the trailing edge compared to smaller sizes makes the large wings more agile and easier to turn. The stronger anhedral shape in the front view also provides directional stability.
The MA1500v2 is ideal for advanced wingfoilers moving up from larger sizes and can also be used by lighter riders (<70 kg) for learning. It uses the same profile as the larger wings for low stall speed and high pitch stability but offers more speed, better turns, and more glide due to its smaller surface area and higher aspect ratio.
The Prime Frontwings in Prepreg E-Glass construction are made from the same molds as our carbon prepreg frontwings and deliver the same high performance, durability, and impact resistance – at a more accessible price.
