Light wind? No problem. The Trace features a progressive straight, square outline and large surface area for early planing and good upwind performance even in the lightest winds.
A central V-spine and longitudinal quad channels provide balanced torsional stiffness, excellent hold, and more control. The progressive medium-low rocker is ideal for flat water while also enabling impressive pop for tricks and transitions in light wind, as well as surprising agility for its size.
Combine the Trace with our Reach 13–19 m to maximize riding time in the lightest wind, or use the larger Orbits for airstyle training.

- NEW BIAXIAL HYBRID CARBON CONSTRUCTION The use of 380 gsm E-Glass allows the weight and flex of the board to be precisely tuned for light wind conditions. 3DY Carbon provides a lively ride feel, low weight, and strong pop.
- EARLY PLANING AND STRONG UPWIND PERFORMANCE An extended waterline, a straight, angular outline shape with wide tips, and a medium rocker ensure early planing, strong drive, and excellent upwind performance, even in very light wind.
- NEW LARGER INTEGRATED GRAB RAIL A deeper-formed rail is structurally integrated into the deck and allows for an easy grip for board-offs. The Grab-it Rail accessory can also be used with this deeper rail.
- DYNAMIC FLEX Variations in core thickness, taper, and longitudinal and transverse structure play an important role in the ride feel. Board-specific laminate layups further refine the flex.
- POP FOR LIGHT WIND TRICKS The progressive medium-low rocker line is ideal for flat water and provides strong pop as well as surprisingly good maneuverability despite the board’s size.
- CENTER V AND QUAD CHANNELS The quad concave channels with V-spine increase stiffness, efficiently channel water away, and reduce drag, improving upwind ability and high-speed control.
- LIGHTWEIGHT, IMPACT-RESISTANT CORE Renewable Paulownia hardwood is light but very durable and highly impact resistant. Core thickness is individually adjusted to ensure consistent properties across the entire range.

- INCLUDES 40 MM FINS The straight outline of the Trace ensures stable straight-line tracking. Smaller fins reduce drag in light wind and improve control.
