The foil paddle is characterized by low aspect ratio of the blade, which provides quick acceleration and powerful performance at low speeds. This paddle is designed to get you onto the foil, and the shorter height offers more clearance between paddle and foil. The foil blade is based on the Velocity concept – with a strong double concavity in the middle of the paddle and winglets around the paddle edge to reduce flutter. The low aspect ratio paddle may not be efficient for longer sustained efforts or higher speeds but offers instant power from a standstill.
