The outline of this board is based on that of its composite counterpart and is the ultimate 3-in-1 board for touring, surfing, and racing. According to SUPboarder Magazine, every paddler should own a board like the Generation, and now you can pack it into a backpack and take it anywhere.
3-IN-1: A TRUE ONE-BOARD QUIVER – SURFING, RACING, TOURING
The tail is sharp-edged and equipped with thruster fin boxes, making it perform well in surf and choppy water. The Generation also features accessories like bungee tie-downs for securing touring equipment and a carry handle for easy transport.CONTROLLED GLIDING
The fairly parallel outline allows for very predictable and controlled gliding. The nose enables quick acceleration when sprinting, as it floats on the water. The tail tapers to a square shape, allowing for very responsive turning in the surf and quick buoy turns.
ROUNDED V-BOTTOM SHAPE
Helps lift the board's nose out of the water so you can accelerate faster and maintain a higher top speed. It also glides smoothly over small chops, making it versatile for all conditions. The deep double concave supports the rounded vee and provides stability right under your foot.
BUNGEE ATTACHMENT
Directly in front of the standing area is a convenient and easily accessible storage option. Bungee cords secure your gear on tours and trips, ensuring nothing gets lost.
THICK RAILS
Consistent across the entire profile of the board, giving you balanced glide from nose to tail. The Generation is thinner than a touring and race board, making it easier to maneuver and carry.
RAIL TUCK EDGE
The rails are... rounded to prevent catching the nose./tapered in the middle to create a stable platform./sharp-edged at the tail for carving in the surf.
GRADUAL NOSE KICK
Prevents the board from diving in the surf and lee, as well as lifting over chops on the windward side. The curved rocker is fast on flat water, smooth in the surf, and very capable in choppy water.
RECESSED PAD
Lowers your center of gravity for more comfort and stability. The flat deck makes it easy to move freely when surfing on the tail.
2-IN-1 CARRY STRAP
Allows you to effortlessly carry the board to the water and secure your paddle when you don’t need it.
