• SWEPT BACK LEADING EDGE A swept-back central leading edge enables quick reactions and makes initiating turns and rotations easier – ideal for big freestyle moves as well as precise wave and downwind surfing.
• COMPACT OUTLINE A compact aspect ratio with short, angular, and narrow Ultra-X wingtips makes the Reactor especially agile by reducing air resistance and rotational inertia in key areas.
• H² REFLEX RESPONSE LE SEGMENTS Stiff and lightweight H² leading-edge segments increase the restoring force in heavily stressed areas that tend to flex. This provides more precise and direct feedback – crucial for extreme freestyle maneuvers and big jumps.
• GRADIENT LOAD CANOPY The canopy combines lightweight Aeroflex 55 in the front, Code-Tec 85 in the middle, and two rows of durable Ultra-X at the trailing edge. Lightweight fabric in low-stress areas and stronger material in high-stress spots ensure efficient power transfer, less deformation, and a smooth, forward-pulling ride feel.
• FLAT DIHEDRAL A relatively flat dihedral angle ensures maximum responsiveness and allows faster spin initiations as well as more direct power delivery.
• FLAT PROFILE, SHORT CHORD A flatter profile combined with a shorter chord length provides maximum agility and extremely fast reactions. At the same time, the larger leading edge delivers enough power and stiffness for loaded moves and jumps.
• FLUTTER-FREE FLIGHT Four stiff fiberglass battens are strategically positioned at the trailing edge. Combined with optimally tensioned Ultra-X material, this results in a very smooth and flutter-free flight – regardless of wind strength.
• MINIMAL WINDOWS Minimally used PU windows in the mid Code-Tec-85 range of the canopy provide forward and leeward visibility. This helps avoid collisions without compromising the wing's performance.
• COOL GREY LEADING EDGE The light grey leading edge keeps the pressure (PSI) stable in the sun by reflecting heat and preventing overpressure. A black leading edge can rise from 10 to about 13 PSI in the sun, while Cool Grey only increases to about 10–10.5 PSI.
• ERGO FLAG HANDLE An ergonomically low-positioned flag-out handle with a wide, soft surface and sturdy strap base allows easy, direct, and comfortable control in freefly mode.
• DUAL PUSH-TURN VALVES User-friendly push-turn valves with high airflow enable quick inflation and deflation. Separate valves for the strut and leading edge allow individual pressure adjustment for different conditions and uses.
• PISTOL GRIP BOOM (SOLD SEPARATELY) Choose between prepreg UD carbon or aluminum boom. The ergonomic soft-touch design offers semi-flag control, eases tacking and jibing, improves roll control, and provides a secure, comfortable grip even during long sessions.
• WING WAIST LEASH (INCLUDED) All Starboard wings come standard with a robust waist leash. It ensures safety, comfort, and free arm movement. A wrist leash is also available as an optional accessory.
• WING BAG (INCLUDED) The ventilated wing bag provides space for the wing, pump, and accessories. A boom up to 109 cm in length can remain mounted on the wing inside the bag, so it doesn’t need to be removed on the go. Made in collaboration with Waste2Wear from recycled plastic bottles.

• AEROFLEX 55 (Front Canopy) Ultra-light front canopy area (55 GSM) – enables a weight reduction of about 10%, provides more even force distribution, and a forward-pulling ride feel through controlled expansion in the front area.
• CODE-TEC 85 (Mid Canopy) High-strength mid canopy material (85 GSM) – ensures stability in the middle section of the canopy and offers a balanced mix of responsiveness and durable performance.
• ULTRA-X (Canopy Trailing Edge & Wingtips) Exclusive high-tech laminate from Starboard, developed together with Challenge Sailcloth™ (86 GSM) – four times more durable than conventional fabric. Ultra-X reduces swing weight at the tips, prevents damage from tearing further, minimizes stretch, and keeps the wing precise and responsive session after session.
• H² (Centre & Load Zones – Leading Edge) Advanced triaxial 45° ultra-PE airframe material (85 GSM) – provides direct, stable feedback and exceptional durability. H² is 30% lighter than Ho‘okipa and 50% lighter than standard Dacron, yet 14% stronger – for high performance at extremely low weight.
• HTD160 (Leading Edge & Strut) High-strength Dacron for leading edge and strut (160 GSM) – stiff, robust, and reliable. The cool gray tone ensures stable PSI pressure and a permanently shape-stable structure.
