• COMPACT, ROBUST & SUITABLE FOR SCHOOLS/CLUBS An extremely low aspect ratio with short, inward-curved wing tips ensures particularly forgiving handling and reliably keeps the tips out of the water – for better control and faster learning progress. High-strength Dacron and the Code-Tec-85 canopy guarantee high durability with minimal stretch. Large windows, a bright red canopy, the cool-grey leading edge, and a hands-free waist leash make the wing the ideal choice for schools and clubs.
• ULTRA-COMPACT ASPECT RATIO The SOURCE features an extremely low aspect ratio of only 1.8, delivering maximum low-end power with minimal wingspan. This makes it easier to start foiling, simplifies handling, and reliably keeps the wing tips out of the water.
• INWARD-CURVED WING TIPS The inward-curved wing tips further reduce water contact, make the wing especially forgiving, and enable quick, safe learning progress – ideal for beginners and school use.
• BUILT FOR DURABILITY The leading edge is made from high-strength HTD160 Dacron, and the canopy from extremely durable Code-Tec 85. Both materials withstand intensive use, offer low stretch, and high stiffness – robust, long-lasting, and easy to control.
• STEEPER DIHEDRAL (14°) The steep 14° dihedral makes the wing very agile, easy to control, and additionally prevents the wing tips from catching in the water.
• DEEP PROFILE, LONG CHORD The deep profile with a long chord generates strong "sheet-and-go" power and helps riders get on the foil earlier. At the same time, it allows for a smaller wingspan – perfect for learners and easier control.
• LARGE VIEWING WINDOWS Enlarged PU windows provide maximum visibility and safety: large central windows for downwind view as well as front windows for clear forward visibility. Especially important for beginners and practice to avoid collisions.
• BRIGHT RED CANOPY The fully red canopy guarantees maximum visibility on the water – a crucial safety factor for beginners and training operations, creating confidence and calm while learning.
• COOL GREY LEADING EDGE The light grey leading edge reflects solar heat, maintains stable air pressure, and prevents overpressure – ideal for schools and stations where wings are often left in the sun.
• FLUTTER-FREE FLIGHT Four stiff fiberglass battens on the trailing edge ensure a smooth, quiet, and completely flutter-free flight – regardless of wind strength.
• ERGO FLAG HANDLE The ergonomically low-positioned flag handle with a wide soft-touch grip and stiff strap base allows comfortable, direct control in free-fly mode.
• DUAL PUSH-TURN VALVES Max-flow push-turn valves allow quick inflation and deflation. Separate valves for the strut and leading edge enable individual pressure adjustment for maximum performance and flexibility.
• PISTOL GRIP BOOM (SOLD SEPARATELY) Available in prepreg UD carbon or aluminum – depending on budget and requirements. The ergonomic soft-touch boom offers secure control in (semi-)flagged condition, facilitates tacking and jibing, improves roll control, and remains comfortable in the hand even during long sessions.

High-strength canopy material (85 GSM) – provides stability and durability in the canopy and offers a balanced combination of responsiveness and consistently reliable performance.

HTD160 (Leading Edge & Strut)

High-strength Dacron for leading edge and strut (160 GSM) – stiff, robust, and reliable. The cool gray tone supports stable PSI pressure and ensures a consistently shape-retentive structure.

• WING WAIST LEASH All Starboard Wings come standard with a sturdy waist leash – for safety, comfort, and free arm movement. An optional replaceable wrist leash is available.
• WING BAG The ventilated wing bag offers space for the wing, pump, and accessories, and can hold an assembled boom up to 109 cm in length – without disassembly. Made in collaboration with Waste2Wear from recycled plastic bottles.
