Available for pre-order together with the brand new VIVA Wing from October 2025, first delivery from February 2026. Compatible with all freeride Starboard wing models. - PISTOL GRIP BOOM The pistol grip boom offers a comfortable hand position and also serves as a stable semi-flag grip position. Perfect for riding between boom and flag-out positions – ideal for waves or building downwind momentum – and ensures smoother and more controlled transitions.
- SOFT-TOUCH-OVAL PROFILE The soft-touch oval boom naturally fits in the palm and adapts to the hand shape for ergonomic handling. This improves roll control and comfort during maneuvers while preventing the boom from twisting in the hand, making every movement more precise and secure.
- NON-SLIP, SANDPAPERED EVA GRIP Sandpapered EVA creates micro-friction that becomes even grippier when wet, providing secure hold while remaining soft and comfortable. Unlike molded grooves that can cause pressure points, sandpapered EVA stays comfortable for the hands even during long sessions.
- ERGONOMIC BOOM ANGLE The front area of the boom is slightly raised so your front hand takes a neutral position with an extended arm, reducing strain on the back hand. At the same time, there is more space for the pistol grip and the strut shape can be held more easily, as the ergonomic angle is integrated directly into the boom.
- SCREW-GO Easily and securely mount your desired boom with the two included Torx screws and Torx key. The raised side of the boom points forward toward the strut side, which is closest to the leading edge.

Diameter: Ultra-slim 24 mm prepreg unidirectional carbon handle for maximum performance and control.
Prepreg unidirectional carbon maximizes longitudinal stiffness and stability with minimal weight. The pre-impregnated fibers allow precise resin distribution, reduce excess material, and make the boom especially light, yet very strong and stiff.
