CARBON GLASS PADDLE

The carbon paddle blade combined with a pre-preg fiberglass shaft offers very good performance at an affordable price. A stringer makes the pressure-pressed Y-paddle blade very stiff and torsion-resistant. The matte surface on the shaft offers good grip. The paddles are equipped with 100% carbon extension and handle.

Freestyle and freeride. As free as you can be... whether you're into crazy freestyle moves or just flying freely over the water, this board has you covered. Compared to our first X-Winger models, these new shapes have a slightly longer yet narrower outline and gentler rocker lines to enable early take-off. The nose outline is drawn inwards to reduce the board's swing weight and improve flotation. To compensate for the reduced volume of the retracted nose outline, we gave the board a little more height in this area. The slightly concave standing area offers a direct feel for the foil. The new bottom tail rocker line has been angled slightly upwards so that the nose is slightly higher when foiling. This is essential and gives more room to create more pop when jumping, for example, or to prevent the board from getting caught in chop or diving in hard upwinds. Long tracks with continuous deck-to-bottom foam blocks ensure an extremely strong board-foil connection as well as a large tuning area. A full PVC sandwich construction with Innegra rails and brushed finish provides the ultimate strength to weight ratio. The advanced technical design features and attention to detail in construction create an incredible combination for all types of freeride foiling.

The volume of the sidewalls brings you back into balance even when challenged by some swell. The high walls at the front drain water and the two pairs of drain pipes clear the standing area of any water that may have gotten in. The smooth transition from the deep standing area to the thick tail ensures easy movement towards the stern for pivot turns. The Foil Slate is an excellent choice and is also the most flexible board on the market. For this reason, our shape was awarded the "SUP Paddlesport of the Year 2020" award at Paddle Expo, one of the largest paddlesport dealer trade fairs. Werner Gnigler developed this great board for those who were looking for the ultimate all-in-one shape in water sports. This shape combines surfing and foiling. What is incomparable is that the Foil Slate can be used for SUP foiling, SUP surf foiling, SUP downwind foiling, wing foiling, windsurf foiling, SUP surfing, SUPing, wing surfing and who knows everything else.
The board is extremely stable, fast and responsive. It glides easily over flat sections and enables radical turns. The V on the front underwater hull runs into a deep, single concave, which in turn ends with a slight V on the center fin. This ensures a harmonious lift and quick rail changes.
The Foil Slate is equipped with two US Long Track boxes as an additional windsurf foiling option. For optimal windsurf foil performance, there is the option of attaching foot straps. There are also three fin boxes installed, which should be used for stand-up paddling.
