High Speed Performance

The Mode Pro features a stiff, lightweight N-Weave45 frame and a strong, durable matrix sail for efficient power transfer and high stability. The super-stiff frame converts wind energy into higher forward speed, with explosive acceleration and hangtime. The high-strength sail complements the increased frame tension and expands the wind range and shape retention under all conditions. For 2025, we have introduced the ShiftLock module attachment system, which allows for individual positioning of each size of the ShiftLock carbon handle or boom. The Mode Pro now features Anti-Deflexion Carbon-UDi technology in the Leading Edge (LE) for faster, more direct response. The wing sections are thinner at the front and deeper in the middle for better high-speed performance across a wider wind range. We have developed a cleaner sail with new radial geometric panel cuts and load diffusers. These work harmoniously together to distribute tension more evenly across defined load areas over the sail and improve aerodynamic flow. We have primarily designed the Mode Pro for speed, but the stiffer frame also provides unprecedented lift at higher jumps and forward movement during landings. With incredible stability in the upper range, sizes 3.5 and 4.2 m are ideal for stronger winds, while sizes 4.8 to 6.5 m are optimized for greater performance in lighter winds. The wing has a balanced lower aspect ratio with rounded wingtips to reduce tip contact.
