LIMA CARBON 3pc S35 29MM
PADDLES THAT WIN
The Lima caught straight away and with its ability to redirect automatically, the Lima became the choice of our world champion racing team. Our champions believe that the board floats through the water faster with the Lima.
The new standard in high performance paddling.
- WORLD CHAMPIONS CHOOSE LIMA: The Starboard Dream Team riders ride with standard paddles, i.e. with the same paddle as you.
- ALSO SUITABLE FOR TOURS AND FLAT WATER: The Lima paddle is also ideal for flat water and tours. Bart De Zwart, SUP expedition legend, says:
“I choose a Lima M S35 with a longer shaft than most other riders because in longer races you stand straighter and the
Beat is longer with slower frequency.” - LIMA CNC CORE TWIN RIBS SHAPE: Reduces 15% of core volume. The ribs give the blade strength and the ability to cut through the water faster.
- THE CONCAVE: The concave shape on the drive side directs water through the blade, controlling rocking and increasing flow speed. The edge that defines the shape starts round at the tip of the blade to evenly separate the water. Then it becomes sharper to direct the water and stabilize the leaf. All power is transferred in a straight forward motion, so you no longer have to worry about the paddle's orientation in the water.
- 10° BLADE ANGLE: The Lima has a 10° angle on the blade neck for efficient power phase catching. This is combined with a unique narrow and flat profile that allows you to pull the blade very close to the rail of the board, giving it a really nice line.
- SUPER HANDLE: The new Super Handle changes the way we paddle. The flat tip and wide handle create a new powerful leverage of the entire paddle and blade. You can steer the paddle at slight angles and stay with it with full power. Particularly good in crosswinds and to keep the board on the course you set.
