• Welding Technology: Since 2019, Starboard has been producing all inflatables with laminated rails (edges). Using complex technology, the top and bottom are welded to the rails to form a single unit. Without glue, because it doesn't last forever. Edges that become leaky over time are now a thing of the past. Laminated rails are so special because they are very technical

• Zen construction: Our lightest boards in the range. Specially optimized for female paddlers. The Starboard x Lascana IGO ZEN boards are stiff and stable with a single layer LINEAR drop stitch construction and welded rails. The technology is no different from other single chamber boards in the Starboard SUP range. The drop stitch material was created in collaboration between Starboard SUP and its producers and is ONLY used in our boards. The edges are welded into a layer using a new technology. This makes them significantly more durable, more environmentally friendly and lighter than standard glued rails. Laminated rails are so special because it is technically very complex to weld the round shape of the bow and stern edges. The Starboard x Lascana ZEN SC series is also equipped with galvanized 2000D rail bands, which ensure even more rigidity and performance.
