Comparison to the Spice and Pro
The TwinFin is especially designed for smaller, weak waves and enables advanced surfers to perform more radical maneuvers with less technical effort. It stays lively throughout the wave, effortlessly generates speed, and allows quick recovery after turns or slides. Despite its focus on small-wave performance, it also performs excellently in waves well overhead, accelerating powerfully out of bottom turns and handling fast sections confidently. Compared to the Spice and Pro, the TwinFin rides noticeably looser and builds speed faster. The Pro remains the first choice for high-performance surfing in larger and critical conditions where maximum grip and control are required. The Spice impresses with its versatility with quad or thruster setups. The beveled rails allow smooth rail-to-rail transitions and provide additional grip in turns. The TwinFin neither replaces the Spice nor the Pro but perfectly complements the range for surfers who prefer relaxed lines, fast carves with a large radius, and controlled tail slides.

Effortless Turns & Relaxed Ride Feel
The loose, "skatey" ride makes tight direction changes and tail slides especially easy. The pronounced hip and moon tail create a natural pivot point for quick turns and smooth transitions.
Pronounced Hip & Moon Tail
The subtle cut behind the fins tapers the tail and ensures precise pivot points. The result is a loose but controlled ride feel with more direct response in turns.
Channel Tail Release
Generates additional lift and more speed while enlarging the optimal pressure zone for front- and backfoot surfers. At the same time, the channel tail supports control during maneuvers and recovery after slides.
Fine Rails to the Tail
Enhance responsiveness and agility. Fuller rails in the nose area promote speed along the wave, while thinner rails reduce swing weight and enable faster rotations.
Curved or Flatter Decks
Smaller board sizes feature a curved deck for more sensitivity and thinner rails. Wider models have a flatter deck that provides extra stability and comfort.
Twinz Fin Setup
Two large fins minimize water resistance and ensure high speeds with reliable hold and easy tail release. For more control and grip in bigger waves, an additional Nubster fin can be mounted.
Center Handles
Boards up to and including 8'3" use a smaller handle that better fits the compact board size and reduces the risk of standing on the handle while riding.
Boards from 8'6" use a larger handle that offers extra grip and more comfort when carrying bigger boards.
Both handles feature a double-grip design, allowing them to be comfortably held and carried from both sides.

- Stiff Deck Construction - A 0.6 mm thick layer of sustainably sourced Australian pine increases the deck’s impact resistance and stiffness.
- Twin T-Stringer - T-stringers integrated into the deck and hull act like an I-beam along the rails, protecting the board from complete breakage during hard landings.
- Robust Fin Boxes - Made from recycled Akulon Eco, surrounded by high-density foam, and reinforced with over 1000 g of fiberglass—for maximum durability and longevity.
