Sonar AF Board Adaptor Foil Accessory The sonar foil system is connected to the board with a lightweight, CNC-milled aluminum board adapter, featuring a conical geometry locking connection that connects to the mast and merges the board adapter and the mast into a single unit. This ensures optimal load transfer and a stronger, more direct feel, as well as precise steering impulse behavior during foiling. FE analysis allows us to increase strength in areas with the highest stress loads and reduce unnecessary weight in areas with lower loads. The system features a strong geometry locking connection for better energy transfer and a more direct feel.

SONAR S High Speed Stabilizer Flat, loose, and even faster – the new S-Stabilizer is a high-speed upgrade for the Sonar foil system for experienced riders. As we have expanded our front wing range, we had to match the lift of the front wing with the stabilizer. While your front wing generates vertical lift, your stabilizer acts downward, preventing the front wing from diving. A larger stabilizer means more pressure on the front foot, while a smaller stabilizer means less pressure on the front foot. The North stabilizers are mounted above the fuselage, which avoids turbulence in the flow field of the front wing and allows for a smoother ride. This upper mounting also gives the rider an early warning of exceeding the limit – the stabilizer breaks the water surface first, giving you a better chance to recover before your front wing comes too high. Like the front wings, all Sonar stabilizers are made from prepreg carbon, ensuring optimal stiffness and direct performance. The thin profile reduces drag, while the material properties maintain structural integrity and stiffness. Stabilizers have a significant impact on performance. As you progress to smaller wing sizes, we recommend switching to a smaller stabilizer to be more maneuverable. Experienced riders will really feel the difference. A new tail wing can have a big impact on your style.

SONAR MA V2 Mid Aspect Front Wing An evolution of the Reflexed Series, our new MA V2 Series Wings offer a stable foil setup designed for wing and boot foiling. Stable in pitch across the entire speed range, the MA V2 Wings provide controllable early take-off and a lower stall speed.

SONAR CF Carbon Foil Edition The CF Edition offers an incredibly direct response and outstanding performance. Our highest quality modular foil series made from pre-preg carbon ensures greater stiffness, a more direct riding feel, and immediate feedback. Designed for exceptional stiffness across all disciplines, the CF Edition consists of lightweight and durable pre-preg carbon components. The reduced swing weight provides an agile, dynamic, and direct riding experience as well as excellent pumpability. The refined one-piece mast design is tapered to ensure optimal power transfer and reduced water resistance, and features our unique GeoLock system. The longer CF85 mast enhances overall performance in choppy conditions, while the CF72 mast is ideal for flatter water, prone surf foiling, and tow foiling.

SONAR HA High Aspect Front Wing The Sonar High Aspect Front Wing Series is designed for maximum speed and efficiency across a variety of disciplines – from wing foiling to prone foil surfing. With this wing type, you need minimal pumping effort and power to glide. The shorter profile depth defines the profile strength, and with a thin profile, there is less drag. The wingspan provides stability and a slightly larger turning radius than a wing with a lower aspect ratio of the same size. The wingtips are refined to ensure there is no ventilation during peak exceedances, giving you the ability to take tighter turning radii at higher speeds without losing speed.

Glide Swift Back Wing The back wing is a swept design with wing tips pointing upwards. It is optimized for a balance between speed, stability and maneuverability. At the same time, it offers extremely responsive but also forgiving maneuverability.
